Sarah Johnson is a talented litigator with a wealth of experience. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Sarah attended Creighton University School of Law for her first year of law school and won the Dean's Academic Scholarship for ranking in the top 10% of her class. She finished law school at Nebraska College of Law where she competed on trial team and moot court, began working cases as a student attorney in the school's Civil Clinic, won a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, and in her third year, ranked in the top 15% of her class.
Sarah currently prosecutes for local counties and municipalities and litigates civil suits involving contracts, debt collection, real estate, and landlord and tenant rights.
From 2019-2021, Sarah taught trial and appellate advocacy courses full-time at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Law. During this time, she also coached competitive mock trial and moot court teams in ten local and national competitions.
Prior to her teaching role, she served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. In this capacity, she represented the City in administrative hearings, quiet title suits, temporary restraining orders, and tax collection suits. Additionally, she regularly advised city officials on emerging legal issues and the legal risks associated with contracts, regulations, negotiations, and trials. She has represented the Land Bank of Kansas City and the Kansas City Homesteading Authority in real estate litigation and transactions. In 2023, she completed realtor licensing courses in both Kansas and Missouri.
